Journals

The Society has produced a Quarterly Journal since its inception. The Journals include reports of meetings/talks, varied articles of interest, and research findings. Contributions are always welcome by the editor journals@jerseyfamilyhistory.org

Contributions

The deadlines for contributions to the Journals are January 1st, April 1st, July 1st and October 1st …but ASAP in normal circumstances. Items can be sent by email to  journals@jerseyfamilyhistory.org. Please make contact before sending any attachments, as unexpected attachments will not be opened due to a possible virus threat.

Online access to JFHS Journals

For a complete index of all of our past journals for the JFHS, please click here.  This is available for everyone to see.

For our members, we currently have PDF copies of the JFHS journal from November 2015 (Journal No. 146) to the latest quarterly journal. These are also available online in our Members area here.

Journals No.1 to 28 are held by JFHS as an archive copy only and are not available but hopefully in the future we will have these on the website.

Journals No. 29 to the present quarterly Journal are also available in paper format for purchase HERE. Some are in short supply and photocopies may be substituted in the near future.

Journals from other Societies namely 'Exchange Journals'

The Jersey Family History Society has recently asked other societies to participate in journal exchanges whereby we send them copies of our journal, and they send us copies of their journals.  

Some societies send us digital copies of their journals, but it is becoming popular for them to send us a link to their page so all their journals can be assessed.
